How To Write a CV for a SAP Position

  1. It si very important to mention the exact work experience that you have with SAP.
  2. You have to mention not only the company you worked with but also the projects in which you took part. The important thing is to pinpoint your experience in a very detailed manner.
  3. For each project you should mention: the SAP modules you worked on(for instance if you worked in the financial module but also in the Treasury submodule, mention FI and FI-TR), SAP version used, implementation phases you took part in (Blueprint, implementation, Go-Live, mentenance, full-cycle and so on).
  4. If you were hired as a freelancer in the project, don’t forget to mention this.
  5. In the education section, first mention the SAP certificates, the SAP courses and only at the end mention general education. Put education first on your CV only if you have no real SAP experience.
  6. It could be useful to mention other IT experience.
  7. If posible, write some references in your CV.
  8. Keep your CV updated. This is highly important. Update it whenever you acquire new SAP knowledge or work experiences.
